Very Rare Empire style half-moon shaped mahogany bookcase buffet with Putti circa 1880 upper part opening with 4 glazed doors with acid-etched decorations of ribboned crowns central part in niche with mirror background, topped with a pretty colored marble lower part opening with 4 doors and 2 drawers surmounting 1 niche very abundant ornamentation of gilded bronzes: notably 2 very important Putti in wreaths of foliage, flowers in friezes and bouquets of roses very beautiful patina and very good quality of cabinetmaking for this rare piece of furniture from the 19th century note: small black spots on the wood but without importance because one has the impression that they are an integral part of the wood h244 x 184 x 60cm
