Allegorical subject featuring a young woman and her borzoi dog, the elegant woman is dressed in the manner of an Egyptian goddess in the style of Thaïs or Semiramis, thus evoking the taste in the Art Deco period for luxury and exoticism, as evidenced by her precious costume adorned with jewels or other precious stones.
