Louis XVI Style Athenian Column
Elegant Athenian column from the Napoleon III period featuring a structure in carved solid wood enlivened by a rich Louis XVI style decoration enlivened by laurel twists and garlands, corner medallions, fleuron falls, the whole supported by three curved uprights covered with acanthus leaves ending with sabot feet joined by a terrace forming a molded spacer, the upper part is enhanced by a fluted column top highlighted with pearls. Good condition, dimensions: 97 cm high X 40 cm wide / Exhibition terrace: 22 cm in diameter.
