"Late 18th Century Ebonized Wood Coin Cabinet"
Sumptuous carved and ebonized wood coin cabinet, with bone and gilded bronze decorations. The cabinet features a classic rectangular shape, with knob-shaped feet and gilded bronze decorations on the top, featuring small amphorae and flowers, reminiscent of classical ornamentation. Eighteen drawers open on the front, with bone inlays depicting sea monsters/mermen. In the center is a small inlaid door, featuring two columns on the sides and a depiction of Adam and Eve; the door, which opens with a key, contains three additional "secret" drawers. This exquisitely crafted piece of furniture will add taste and refinement to any space. Tuscan manufacture from the Neoclassical period, dating to the second half of the 18th century.
