"Clock And Pair Of Candlesticks With Cherubs, 19th Century"
Set consisting of a clock and two bronze and marble candlesticks. The clock, with a hemispherical fluted shaft in gilt bronze, is surmounted by a Cupid shooting an arrow in black patinated bronze and rests on a base with three spinning feet in white marble with gilt bronze inclusions. The dial, surmounted by a knot and floral garlands, is enameled and indicates the hours in Arabic numerals. Each torch is decorated with a black patinated bronze cherub carrying on its head a small vase of flowers from which the two arms of light come out and rests on a base identical to that of the clock.
