"Pair Of Pastels With Kittens "
Very pretty pair of pastels with kittens in the style of Henriette Ronne-Knip. Beautifully sized, the first depicts a kitten behind a pewter pot and a still life with flowers, intrigued by a walking beetle. The second depicts a family of 3, surprised to be having fun with a cup and ball game. Very finely drawn, our pair is incredibly delicate and charming. The frame rods are in oak with heart-shaped stripes in gilded stucco typical of the 1900s. Some loss to the stucco.
