18th Century Italian Curved Cooler In Walnut Marquetry
Curved cooler, Northern Italy, probably Venetian, 18th century. Composed of eight curved and molded panels in walnut marquetry: thick veneer in the shape of a herringbone pattern. It rests on eight solid walnut legs, curved and molded. Opens with a front door with an offset hinge, revealing an interior shelf. Fir frame. Later lock and key that work. Restoration of use. French polish. Very good general condition.
