"Acid-etched Ruby Red Crystal Dish – Late 19th Century"
Elegant dish in ruby red overlay crystal, finely acid-etched and hand-cut. The decoration, of great finesse, represents stylized vine branches, vine leaves and bunches of grapes, an emblematic motif of Bohemian and French glassworks at the end of the 19th century. The superposition of the colorless crystal and the deep red creates a remarkable play of light, enhanced by the scalloped edge with transparent reflections. Work of high quality, executed according to traditional double-layer crystal techniques. Very good condition. Diameter: 23 cm
