Rare surface of an uncommon pattern.
Perfect condition
The ancestral lime laying process has protected these tiles, carefully dismantled
by our team.
We can offer an increase in this surface area of ​​5 to
10 m² by considering the installation of a peripheral rail around these
octagons forming a carpet.
This rail or contour/periphery can be composed of
16 cm x 16 cm square tiles of the same origin or other patterns, as desired.
A smooth tile made of one or more rows depending on the configuration of the room to be covered
and the additional footage to be added.

Installation is simple.
Simply leave a 5 to 6 cm space*
to anchor these tiles in a soft lime screed laid (drawn - is the
actual term) on the support slab.
This lime screed allows for damage-free repairs or subsequent work.

These tiles were laid with lime, which allowed us to carefully dismantle them without breakage.
We strongly recommend lime as a binder for the screed.
A natural product, lime is an excellent thermal and sound insulator.
Furthermore, tiles fixed with lime are easily dismantled in all cases.

Cement, or worse! cement glue, should be avoided!

We really don't think it's wise to rely on the god "Concrete"!
These petroleum-based products are polluting, conduct sound and potential moisture, and are not durable over time.

A hot water heating system can be advantageously
installed on the substrate and embedded in the screed. Perfect comfort guaranteed!

We deliver our antique terracotta floors with
Installation Instructions based on 30 years of experience. Adhering to these instructions
will ensure the patina of three centuries of use is preserved.
