Very rare lacquer and aluminum leaf screen by Donald Deskey, for Deskey-Vollmer.
New York, 1928.
Deskey discovered the lacquer screens of Dunand and Eileen Gray in Paris in the 1920s and was inspired by them. An identical screen is preserved at the Virginia Museum.
