Chest of drawers, writing desk, bookcase in natural wood. In the lower part, a secretary chest of drawers opening 4 drawers (including one in the plinth) topped with a removable flap concealing the work surface (leather top), small drawers and secrets, above a step with 3 drawers; finally in the upper part, a bookcase opens two glass doors, stepped cornice. Front veneered with burr walnut, interior in speckled maple. Sides in blond walnut. Work mid-19th century. We note restorations of use and maintenance, small lacks of veneer (especially edge of drawers), ink marks on the top, a drawer knob to reattach, missing moldings on the rear foot, a varnish which has patinated...
