Pair Antique Japanese Cloisonné Chargers Dragons – Meiji Period

A striking true pair of antique Japanese cloisonné enamel chargers from the Meiji period, each finely decorated with a powerful dragon in mirror image. The dragons, worked in subtle pink and lavender enamel with detailed whiskers, claws, and scales, coil dramatically against a rich speckled ground of deep red and gold.

The reverse is finished in turquoise enamel with incised scroll and scale designs.
Diameter: 31 cm.
Condition: Very good, no restorations. Photos were taken outdoors in natural light; some areas show reflections.

A rare matched pair, notable for their facing composition and superb enamel craftsmanship – an impressive addition for the discerning collector.
