Early 19th Century English Mahogany Wine Cooler / Cellarette with Brass Liner and Drawer
A fine and authentic Regency period mahogany wine cooler, dating to the early 19th century (circa 1810–1830).
This elegant piece is of hexagonal form, raised on tapering fluted legs, and retains its original brass liner. The body is fitted with a small drawer at the base – an unusual and practical feature, likely intended for storing corkscrews or wine accessories.
The front is adorned with an oval brass ring pull decorated with a classical urn motif, typical of the neoclassical taste of the Regency era. The warm patina of the mahogany and the quality of the brass mounts testify to its age and craftsmanship.
