Zoomorphic Pitcher Amphora Austria - Early 20th Century

Artist: Amphora
Elegant glazed ceramic pitcher, made by the Amphora workshops in Austria at the beginning of the 20th century. The piece features an original shape with zoomorphic decoration, with a stylized bird's head serving as a spout and a body adorned with raised plant motifs. The glaze in brown, green, and turquoise tones adds depth and richness to the whole. A fine example of the Viennese Art Nouveau style, combining naturalist inspiration and decorative fantasy.
