Beautiful mahogany display case, marquetry and gilt bronze. Serravezza breccia marble top with cavetto and corbin beak. Molded cornice with reserves of scrolls, fleurons and sunflowers. Beveled glass door, molded frames. Medallion keyhole, acanthus leaf plume. Panels inlaid with shells, volutes and floral foliage. Curved sides, front uprights with canted sides, leafy console falls. Apron with gadroons, pine cone and oak leaves. Molded and ringed spindle legs. Back upholstered in floral patterned fabric (faded). Oak frame, the lock works. Good quality, circa 1880.
