He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he trained in the engraving studio of Jacques Beltrand and Robert Cami. His work is distinguished by a particular sensitivity to the landscapes of the French countryside, particularly those of the Vendée, which he translated with poetry onto copper and paper. He devoted his life to painting and engraving the landscapes of the French countryside, particularly those of the Vendée. The woods, ponds and marshes gave him the opportunity to translate onto copper the poetry of water, trees and his emotion in front of nature. Visible at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
