Marius Mangier was born in Lyon in 1867. He died in 1952 in Nantua. A student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, he exhibited from 1888 at the Salon de la Société Lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts where he won several medals. Marius Mangier is featured in the "Bénézit" as well as in the book "La peinture lyonnaise au 19ème" by Elisabeth Hardouin-Fugier and Etienne Grafe. With its gilded frame, the painting measures 29.5 cm x 36.5 cm. Packaging, shipping, and insurance costs via tracked Colissimo are €25 for France and €35 for the European Union.
