Here is a souvenir of Venice from the end of the 19th century, a photograph with a blue filter to evoke the night, of the Palazzo Vendamin - Grimani on the Grand Canal, seen under the arcades of the Fondacco dei Turchi. The Ca' Vendramin in Venetian was at that time Wagner's place of residence. He breathed his last there in 1883. The photo is originally framed in a beautiful quality black lacquered frame.
