PASTEL AND MIXED TECHNIQUES SIGNED "L.ARROTIN" FOR LEON ARROTIN "1912-1978 REPRESENTING A SEATED NUDE - 20TH CENTURY BELGIAN SCHOOL - PRESENTED UNDER A HIGH QUALITY MATTERS AND FRAME - FRAME SIZE 57 X 46 CM -Painter. Trained at the Academy of Brussels. Painter of figures, nudes, portraits, characteristic miners' heads but also landscapes and still lifes. Palette with a preference for gray tones. Participated in the "Salon Quadriennal de Gand" in 1954. He exhibited at the "Galerie d'Art Contemporain" in Charleroi in 1956. Works acquired by the State, the Province of Hainaut, the city of Charleroi and the municipalities of Couillet and Jumet.
