Original silver print photograph mounted in a fine period table frame in gilt wood, surmounted by a crown, depicting Princess Marie-José of Belgium (1906‑2001), then Princess of Piedmont following her marriage to Crown Prince Umberto of Savoy.
The photograph is signed in her own hand at the bottom of the image: “Maria Principessa di Piemonte.”
Condition: the photograph is in very good condition; the frame shows signs of use, well documented in the accompanying photos.
