Theodore B. Starr (1837-1907) was a famous American silversmith, active in New York in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After collaborating with the German silversmith and jeweler Herman Marcus, he founded his own establishment on Fifth Avenue, a mecca of New York luxury. After his death, his son took over the reins of the company before it closed in 1923.
