BIOGRAPHY:
YVES PARENT, born in Normandy in 1941, died in 2011, is a marine painter. Sailing and painting have always been his passions. Two collections of his watercolors, both out of print, have been published in Paris. He contributed to the book "Painting Seas, Skies, Ships and Shores", published by North Light Books, a publishing house specializing in artistic subjects.
He has been a crew member in numerous round-the-world races and has painted and exhibited coastal scenes in France, England, Bermuda and Saint-Martin, as well as in the United States.
