A lovely solid silver whistling rattle depicting a child's face on both sides within a sun or stylized flower, and four lily-of-the-valley-shaped bells.
The handle is made of precious metal.

This item is in its original condition, complete, and in good condition, with some teeth marks at the end of the whistle.
Silver rattles, in addition to being entertaining, were used as teething aids for babies, as silver has antiseptic properties.
