"Gilt Bronze Chalice, Gothic Style, Circa 1900"
Neo-Gothic style chalice in gilt bronze and metal. It rests on a circular base with an almost flat terrace, decorated with engraved representations of the seated Christ the King, surrounded by his twelve standing apostles. The tubular shaft is fitted with a knot with a tetramorphic motif, cast and cut, decorated with flowers and protruding cabochons imitating amethyst. The flared cup is entirely gilded. Stamped by the master goldsmith with the initials IF. European work, circa 1900.
