Key-lock pistol "LE FAUCHEUX" in 16 mm pinfire caliber, 1870 - 1880 - 19th century. Octagonal barrel with smooth interior in mirror condition with sight. Breech block and trigger guard engraved with scrolls. Thumb rest in the shape of a shield on the back of the stock in walnut of the teardrop type, checkered and carved, bearing the weapon number at the height of the cap. Metal cap with housing closed by a flap engraved in the shape of a scallop shell. Crested hammer and flat firing pin. Unlocking for loading and ejecting the cartridge, by pivoting the trigger guard.
