Basque folk art - Makhila cane from the Ainciart workshop - Larressore, 1899Scarified medlar shaft. The brass ferrule at the bottom is engraved "Ainciart . Larresorre . BP ." (today, the workshop is called Ainciart-Bergara and perpetuates its know-how in the historic workshop of Larressore). BP for Basses-Pyrénées. The brass ferrule at the top of the handle is engraved with the date 1899. When the handle is unscrewed, the forged steel dart appears. Makhila in good condition for its age. Length 94cm Weight 345gr
