Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914) - French sculptor of Italian origin. He studied at the Turin Academy of Fine Arts under Odoardo Tabacchi. After his studies, he returned to Paris and settled in Montmartre. He specialized in female busts, drawing inspiration from literature and opera. He made his works in bronze, pewter, and zinc. His busts were cast by excellent European workshops, such as the Société des Bronzes de Paris and KK Kunst - Erzgiesserei Wien.
