This pair of glazed earthenware bookends depicts two young seated Bigoudins. They are in superb condition, we note a small chip on the young man's hat. Berthe Savigny (1882-1958) is a French sculptor and painter, her works are mainly composed of babies and ceramic statues. In 1927, the Grande Maison HB in Quimper published several of her creations.
