Superb Louis XV period curved chest of drawers, rare for its generous proportions and its three-drawer format on a high foot, difficult to find in this width. The front and sides are elegantly clad in purple box veneer, highlighting the refined curve of the piece. It is topped with its original marble, a red and gray breccia with powerful veins, perfectly proportioned to the whole. The quality bronzes – offcuts, handles, keyholes and sabots – add brilliance and refinement. A period piece of furniture with harmonious proportions, reflecting the refined taste of the 18th century.
