Beautiful Mazarine chest of drawers in rosewood marquetry - Regency period

Small crossbow-shaped chest of drawers, in Indian rosewood, marquetry in quartefeuilles in frames of grain and wide fillets of the same species.

The body, assembled in dovetail, is in quartered softwood.

The decoration of the sides is in "pile of sand" with frames of grain wood.
It opens with 5 drawers on four rows, with drop handles and rosettes.
The 4 Mazarin uprights are called "console" and adorned with bronzes. (see photos: bronzes on the rear uprights).

Very beautiful ornamentation of period bronzes, gilded with mercury.

The parquet floor is topped with a red Ardennes marble top (old restoration)

It is a very beautiful Parisian piece of furniture.
