"Set Design For Serenade By André Delfau"
Born in Paris, he studied Applied Arts and Fine Arts. He began his career in advertising and fashion design (Vogue), then devoted himself to painting, sets, and costumes for theater and shows. He worked for the Paris Opera, the Odéon Theater, as well as for the great ballets of the Marquis de Cuevas, the Comédie Française, the Sarah Bernhardt Theater, etc. Set design in gouache on blue paper for George Balanchine's ballet: Serenade.
