Henri Godet , is a famous French sculptor , born March 5 , 1863 in Paris .
He exhibited for the first time , at the French Artists' Exhibition from 1886 , with his terracotta bust "Vanity" .
He won a bronze medal , with the "Portrait of Miss" at the Salon of 1889 .
He received a "3rd Class Medal" on July 1 , 1893 , by the jury of the sculpture section of the French Artists' Exhibition .
He received the distinction of Officer of the Academy (decree of the Minister of Public Instruction and Fine Arts of February 16, 1899) .
Henri Godet died on October 14 , 1937 in Vincennes , he is buried in the "Père-Lachaise" cemetery .
Artist recognized for his monumental works and his creations in bronze , marble and terracotta .
