Magnificent gilded wood mirror topped with a large pediment depicting the face of the Sun King as a child, wearing feathers and jewels. It is surrounded by braids, foliage, leaves and flowers. On each side, putti, arms raised, hold a large garland of flowers falling onto the mirror. The molded frame of this large mirror is decorated with flowers, foliage and a ribboned cord. The mercury mirror is beveled and original.
