He also died there on December 12, 1965. He comes from a very old family from the Val de Saire. In addition to the port of Barfleur, which he painted in several of his paintings, he also represented several monuments of the Val de Saire, such as the manor of Cosqueville, the churches of Gouberville, Vicel, Sainte-Geneviève, seaside landscapes, farms or cottages, but also still lifes, animals in the fields.
