"Victor Boner, Bigouden Village, Brittany"
Originally from Loudéac, Brittany, Victor Boner participated in the artistic and literary society of Brittany, the archaeological society of Ille et Vilaine, and numerous regional events from 1905. He was a professor at the Rennes School of Fine Arts from 1915 to 1918. He used watercolors for landscapes of Brittany and scenes of daily life, and this work is similar to that of Ernest Pierre Guérin, but also executed various murals in the churches of Etrelles, Cossé-le-Vivien, Saint-Caradec, Le Quillio.
