Francesco Novelli (1764 - 1836) - "The street magician", Italian School around 1800. Watercolor on paper. Small format street scene, finely drawn and colored, representing a young magician with his cups and cards. We can see tricorn hats as well as top hats, a child wearing a wig, which allows us to date this watercolor to the end of the 18th century or the very beginning of the 19th century. Stains in upper left corner and lower center. Unsigned. In a later wooden frame. Total dimensions 14.5 x 17.5 cm.
