"Important Swedish Mirror With Stucco And Carved Wood Decorations, Circa 1740 "
Stucco decorations are applied to the mirror-covered frame. Typical of Swedish Baroque mirrors from the first half of the 18th century. The pediment is beautifully carved with acanthus and rocaille decorations. The band on the base closes the large mirror field accordingly. Perfectly preserved and original gilding.
