Pair Of 17th-18th Century Armchairs, Antique Tapestry
Original pair of armchairs covered with beautiful old tapestries.
Originally, 17th century chairs transformed into armchairs under Louis XV with the addition of arms and cheeks to the belt to round off the shape of the seat.
The "period" combination of the two styles gives them a particular charm.
Added to this is the freshness of the colors of the tapestries.
The floral patterned tapestry of the seat on the left in the photo is in good general condition with very fresh colors. Some wear and a small hole on the side of the backrest.
The other armchair (on the right of the photo) has a tapestry with fresh colors as well but much more worn, repairs on the backrest, wear and tears on the seat.

Width 57 cm
