Copper wall-mounted holy water font, formerly silver-plated, executed in the form of a Gothic triptych. The central part represents the scene of the Adoration of the Magi. The two side panels, mounted on hinges, depict the four evangelists in openwork medallions. The brass container for holy water is set in its support, decorated with frames adorned with images of the Tetramorphs. The upper part of the whole is embellished with pinnacles in the form of statues of angels and saints in prayer, surmounted in its center by a flowered crucifix. The holy water font bears the stamp "Stoffel". Careful and harmonious execution: engraved, chased, worked in applique, the subjects are rendered almost in the round, on an architectural background or in a perspective of a natural landscape.
