FLEURY FRANÇOIS
This cabinetmaker is mentioned until the beginning of the reign of Louis XVI rue Traversière, where he would have taken over the first workshop of his brother Adrien. We do not know of his stamp but the initials "FF" are sometimes attributed to him. This mark appears on some good Louis XV furniture, including a curved chest of drawers with a crossbow face and three rows of drawers, violet wood veneer, rich bronze decoration, 86 x 114 cm, sold at the Hôtel Drouot on June 12, 1987.
