Beautiful mahogany, lemonwood, and gilt bronze bookcase. Arched pediment with cavetto, two glass doors paneled with shells, volutes, flowers, and leaves. Large central glass door, beveled glass. Gilt bronze ornamentation: rocaille shell uprights, openwork sabots, framing fillets, hinges, lock escutcheons, pull handle, and apron. Scalloped crosspieces, sides, and door panels veneered with quatrefoil. Oak backs, removable. High-quality piece of furniture, Rinck's signature on a bronze. Circa 1880. French polish.
