"Hand-painted Porcelain Box, Louis XV Style – 19th Century Period"

Charming rectangular porcelain box with a blue background from Sèvres, richly decorated with hand-painted gallant scenes, signed G. Poitevin. The lid features a romantic scene inspired by the 18th century, framed with raised gilt motifs.
The sides are adorned with finely executed rural landscapes, also highlighted with gilded rocaille frames.
The interior is decorated with delicately painted polychrome bouquets of flowers. Mounted in chased and gilded bronze.
