Spectacular pot-bellied white earthenware jug, decorated with a large crown of leaves in relief, half brown and half yellow. In the center, a terracotta medallion animated by two putti crowned with vine branches. One giving a drink to the small seated bachus. The neck forming a spout is narrow and decorated with a lion's head. At the back, the handle is wide with double strands and is attached to the body by a twist. The base has a series of superimposed rings. High-quality white enamel. Beautiful shape and dimensions. Condition: Spout cover missing. Rework of the field at the back of the neck. Slight crack on the side of the spout. Terracotta medallion added
