Presentation Buffet, Double-evolved Doors. Ile De France Period, Early 18th Century
Superb presentation buffet in molded walnut, with a gendarme hat cornice and opening with four doors. The upper body is set back, the doors are arched in the upper part and have a double evolution. The shelves are cut into the front. The oak back is paneled and molded. Beautiful ironwork, closing system and locks. The top key has an S-shaped barrel. The sides are paneled, molded and with double shelves. The uprights are straight. The lag screw assembly is very characteristic of Ile de France work. Very high quality walnut. Beautiful molding work. Very good condition, missing bottom key. Small accidents at the base of the front right upright but nothing major.
