A pottery was active there from 1919 to 1995. The pottery building was installed in a former whaleboat cellar on the banks of the Nivelle in the current Golf district. Richard Le Corrone (1909-1977) joined the pottery in 1928. From this period, he composed, in a lively, very recognizable style, Basque scenes, inspired by dances or field work.
