Object description :

"Regency Period Carved Oak Console Table"
Beautiful console table in finely carved natural wood.
The curved and openwork belt on the front has a large jagged leaf in the center, carved with flowers and foliage continuing on each side with volutes, leaves and flowers.
The curved crosspieces on the sides are carved ending with an openwork half-shell.
They are joined by curved and counter-curved uprights carved internally and externally with cut leaves, fleurons, flowers, volutes, knotted ribbon and leafy scrolls.
The uprights are joined at the base by a curved, scalloped spacer going back and carved with an openwork shell, crosses, foliage, volutes and flowers.
It is topped with a very beautiful red Rance marble molded with a corbin beak perfectly matching the shape of the console. Beautiful Parisian work from the Regency period.
Nervous sculpture and motifs connecting elegantly.
