ELIO MARTINELLI (1921-2004)
After studying at the industrial school, he graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Florence and contributed with his creativity to the development of his father Plinio's business in the lighting sector. He began his professional activity in the studio located in Lucca and focused on interior design and the equipment of shops, restaurants and hotels. The need to bring his projects to fruition encouraged him to design and create his own lighting systems. The Cobra, Serpente, Foglia lamps are part of the collections of the MOMA in New York and are today design icons.
