Watercolor over pencil stroke depicting a canal in Venice, signed lower right by Pierre Palué. Pierre Palué was born in 1920 in Bordeaux. It was the Second World War that decided his vocation as a painter. He settled in the Drôme region and held numerous exhibitions in France, as well as in the United States and Japan. He created a museum in the Drôme region and died in Chavannes in 2005. The watercolor is framed in a modern frame and measures 22.8 x 29.3 cm without this frame.
