"Auguste Rodin"
An early work by Auguste Rodin and one of his first commercial successes, it still betrays the influence of his mentor Albert Erneste Carrier-Belleuse. He created this work while he was in Brussels, working on the construction site of the Stock Exchange and was published by the Compagnie des Bronzes de Bruxelles.
This bust of Suzon rests on a pivoting base in Griotte red marble and gilded bronze.
