Pair of Italian lamps in the 17th century style representing a polychrome and gilt angel with a fine, youthful (feminine?) face, long curly hair, finely detailed wings, a long tunic held charmingly raised above the knee, and well-worked draperies enhanced with gilding.
The angel holds in one hand a twisted cornucopia ending in a wreath of foliage supporting a lamp.
The octagonal base is decorated with a winged child's head.

Condition: Good overall condition with some lacks to the polychromy and superficial wear to the gilding that are part of the antique patina.
Materials: stucco resin composition, polychromy and patinated gilding.
Date: mid-20th century.
Electrification: Original Edison brass cables, switches and sockets with bayonet, perfectly functional.
